Ground green tea with centuries of tradition
Matcha is powdered green tea – not brewed, but fully consumed. This makes it more concentrated in flavor, richer in chlorophyll and L-theanine, and creates the characteristic calm alertness that sets it apart from coffee.
Our matcha comes from the Uji region near Kyoto, the historic heart of Japanese matcha production. We work directly with a small manufactory that processes only shade-grown tencha. Ceremonial grade means: first harvest, young leaves, finest grind.
Three ways – all on our coffee menu
2 g matcha in a bowl, 60–80 ml hot (not boiling) water, whisk into an M-shape with the chasen. 30 seconds of pure meditation.
Whisk 2 g matcha with 40 ml water, then add to hot or cold milk. Our recommendation: unsweetened oat milk.
Matcha with little water to form a paste, add ice cubes, pour milk over – done. Perfect for summer.

Stop by and try a bowl straight from us – classic, as a latte, or on ice. We'll explain everything.
